This past week we celebrated National Children's Book Week. Many Primary School students shared their favorite books and authors through discussion in library classes. Older students and faculty used the interactive window display to share some favorites like the Harry Potter series, Where the Wild Things Are, Olivia, Pat the Bunny, and Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. I shared my loved of Mo Willems in classes with readings of Leonardo the Terrible Monster, That is NOT a Good Idea!, and Knuffle Bunny Too.
Saturday, November 21, 2015It was a cold, snowy day outside but warm and fun in the SRC! While some passed around our clue from the International Gossip Game, others enjoyed bean bag toss, Star Wars Trivial Pursuit, video games, puzzles, board games, banana pianos with Makey Makey, and ping pong. Liam S. was the winner of the 1st Annual SRC Ping Pong Tournament.
